Law Commission Consultation on Reforms to the Hate Crime Laws

The Law Commission is now calling for reforms to hate crime laws to make them fairer and, for example, to protect women for the first time (although the proposals are wider than just gender).
A consultation process is now taking place to gather thoughts and opinions from professionals. All views collected by the Law Commission will prove invaluable in helping them to focus as an organisation and as a wider partnership. Your views are important to them. The consultation closes on 21 December 2020.
